Text files in the audit folder

In the audit folder there are some files that can help with troubleshooting problems.

Both will have the name of the audit trail but then a different extension. 

The ,LOG file contains on each line a code and some text corresponding to the code that can make some problems clearer.

Each Line starts with the time and then a code for the type of thing that the program did at that time then the computer name and finally some more text to do with the code.

So, for example, on the second line in the example picture it has the time, then type 41, then the computer name and finally the text which in this case is the version of the program.

On the second line of the example picture it has the time. then type 85, then the computer name, then the text which in this case is the content of the WCICONFG,INI file on the machine named.

 

The .TXT file contains everything that was printed by the program and is shown below.

It shows what was sent to the printer in text form followed by a line of dashes then the date & time. the name of the computer the job was sent from and then the name of the printer,

In the image the lines that start with a ^ are the codes for a boxedge printer.
